Too much to be still

'Too much to be still' is the place where my impulses, ideas and emotions take shape, where silence is not an option, where colours and figures tell a story.

My artistic process

Painting, for me, is a process of discovery. In the studio, a dialogue emerges between intuition, material, and imagination. As I work, images unfold and develop step by step—sometimes unexpectedly, sometimes almost naturally.

My work moves between abstraction and figuration. Colour, layering, and movement play an important role in this. Each painting is a moment in an ongoing search for form, atmosphere, and meaning.

On this website, I present a selection of my work and the different directions in which my painting continues to develop. Through the use of diverse techniques and materials, series emerge that each have their own world and visual language.

I invite you to take your time to look around and discover the works at their own pace.

Abstract expression

In my abstract work I place targeted colour areas and structures but I also let lines and colours run free. Layers, textures, contrasting colours or metallic paint make the piece dynamic.

Narrative figures

With nature as a source of inspiration, I visualise moments of growth, vulnerability, strength or introspection. But there is more to see.

“My work is the expression of an inner voice, a constant urge to create, too much to be still.”
