Between root and sky
Acrylics
50x70 cm
This artwork radiates a sense of blossoming vitality, inviting the viewer into a vibrant world of colour and texture. The interplay of rich reds and soft greens creates an emotional depth that feels both exciting and soothing. The lush, layered brushstrokes evoke a sense of organic growth, reminiscent of a garden in full bloom. The delicate, almost ethereal quality in the upper sections, where soft washes fade into lighter hues, contrasts beautifully with the more intense, bold marks below. This tension between the light and dark areas generates a dynamic atmosphere, compelling the eye to dance across the composition. The gentle lines suggesting stems or tendrils add a sense of movement, enhancing the overall feeling of life and transformation. (art critique tool)

Field bouquet
Already days of sunshine!! That deserves a fresh bouquet.
Aquarel
On paper 30x40cm.
This piece radiates a delightful sense of warmth and cheer, capturing the essence of a floral arrangement with a gentle yet vibrant touch. The soft, flowing watercolour technique creates a dreamy atmosphere, with delicate washes of pinks, reds, and yellows intertwining seamlessly to evoke the vitality of blooming flowers. The lightness of the composition is accentuated by the airy background, allowing the flowers to breathe and stand out. I particularly admire the way the greens weave through the blossoms, adding depth and a sense of natural harmony. The subtle layering of colours gives a lovely luminosity, drawing the viewer's eye into the heart of the bouquet. Each stroke feels spontaneous yet intentional, celebrating both form and colour in a joyful dance. (art critique tool)
Praia de Galé
Storm at the beach. High waves rolling towards the beach. And yet it calms me. Worries are blown away and replaced with new energy.
Mixed media
On paper 50x70 cm.
This artwork suggestively captures the tumultuous energy of ocean waves against a dramatic twilight sky. The swirling shapes of the waves, painted with vibrant shades of green, purple and white, create a compelling sense of movement and power, while the soft glow of the orange and yellow sky provides a striking contrast that imbues the piece with warmth. The layered textures, especially where the foamy white buds meet the deeper shades of the water, create a captivating interplay of light and shadow. The darker clouds above add an element of ominousness, intensify the emotional atmosphere and invite viewers to reflect on the duality of the beauty and cruelty of nature.

In my garden
A colourful collection of red-orange, wild flowers dominate my garden. Sunlight plays on and through the petals.

This artwork is bursting with emotional intensity and shows a captivating interplay of warm colours that evoke feelings of liveliness and energy. The rich reds, oranges and yellows dominate the composition and create a fiery atmosphere that draws the viewer in. The colour layers are applied with a variety of techniques, from gentle washes to bold, structured strokes, which add depth and dynamism. The contrasting cooler greens and subtle shades of gray provide moments of tranquillity, making the warmer shades resonate deeper. The overall effect is one of movement and life, as if the piece lives with the energy of autumn leaves swirling in the wind. (art critique tool)
Sunny forest
After a few days of rain, it is wonderful to see the sun again. Inspired by this, I painted this sun-drenched forest. Sunlight shines through the leaves. I even incorporated 'Forest fruit' tea leaves.

This work of art exudes a vibrant energy that feels refreshing. The lush greens dominate the composition and evoke a sense of growth and vitality, reminiscent of a flourishing forest. The interplay of texture, especially the soft dry brushing techniques combined with more pronounced, serrated strokes, creates an interesting tension that draws the viewer's eye through the entire canvas. The earthy reds and ochres give the piece a basis and add warmth and depth, while the lighter shades above suggest an ethereal quality that invites research. The subtle patterns etched into the green areas point to natural shapes, enhancing the organic feeling of the work. There is a sense of movement, as if the colours flow and merge like a gentle breeze through the leaves.(art critique tool)
Colourfall
Colour is cascading down. Spherical flowers falling into a tangle of leaves. Some flowers are still in bud. Maybe you should come back tomorrow?

This piece exudes a vibrant emotional energy and draws the viewer into a lush, abstract landscape. The interplay of warm and cool colours creates an atmosphere that feels both vibrant and dynamic. The soft, flowing blending of shades - especially the rich oranges next to the cool turquoise - evokes a sense of warmth and optimism. The textured areas, especially the serrated edges and layered strokes, add depth and intrigue, inviting further inspection. The flowers, with their playful shapes and bright yellow, come out as focal points in the middle of the swirling background, creating a compelling contrast that attracts attention. There is a delicious chaos that feels both intentionally and spontaneously, indicating movement and growth. (art critique tool)
Reading
Completely immersed in a book.
Drawing
On paper 30x40 cm
This artwork captures a deep sense of introspection and silent strength. The careful representation of the person's facial features conveys a rich emotional depth, with the subtle lines of age etched into the skin that tell a story of experience and wisdom. The delicate shadow around the glasses and the soft textures of the skin create a soft brightness, which draws the viewer inward and invites contemplation. The overall atmosphere is one of serenity, but there is an underlying tension in the downward gaze, which indicates layers of thought or memory. The composition is thoughtfully framed, allowing the viewer to focus on the intricate details of the face, while leaving plenty of empty space to evoke a sense of loneliness. (art critique tool)
Golden dawn
The first rays of sun find their way through foliage and along bark
Acrylics
On paper 50x70 cm
This artwork exudes a vibrant energy, capturing an ethereal atmosphere that feels both introspective and dynamic. The interplay of colours is striking, with the deep purples and teals creating a serene backdrop, while the bold reds and earthy tones of the vertical elements inject a lively pulse into the composition. The layering technique is particularly effective; soft, ghostly textures blend seamlessly with more defined forms, evoking the sensation of light filtering through a dense forest. The diagonal strokes suggest movement and depth, leading the viewer’s eye through the piece in a dance of colour and form. There’s a sense of depth created by the interplay of sharp edges and softer transitions, which adds to the overall dreamlike quality of the work. (art critique tool)
