Too much to be still

Stories in mixed media

In my mixed media work you can see and feel the inspiration of nature too.  Sometimes I can even hear or smell nature - waves smashing on rocks, birds singing in a forest scene, the smell of morning dew. They are sounds and smells that are associatively evoked. They strengthen connection with what I see.

Thinking of Corsica

If you've ever been to Corsica, you've probably visited the rock formations near Piana or the Calanches. Both are known for their beautiful red rock formations along the coastline. When the sun goes down the rocks light up as if they are on fire.

In my garden

A colourful collection of red/orange, wild flowers dominate my garden. Sunlight plays on and through the petals.

Sunny forest

After a few days of rain, it is wonderful to see the sun again. Inspired by the sunny weather I painted this sun-drenched forest. I even incorporated 'Forest fruit' tea leaves.

Red moon rising

I watched too many episodes of "Once upon a time", I could not help but create a fairytale like landscape. Pieces from an art calendar are pasted in the cave.

Praia de Galé

Storm at the beach. High waves roll towards the coast.

And yet it calms me. Worries are blown away and replaced by new energy.

Colour is cascading down. Spherical flowers falling into a tangle of leaves. Some flowers are still in bud. Maybe you should come back tomorrow?
